Purpose of the job:

The Contract Manager within Schneider Electric's Advisory Services (SEAS) business unit supports Sales in delivering energy, sustainability, and renewable consultancy services and solutions by drafting and managing client contracts and related documentation.

The role is responsible for assessing contractual risks, ensuring alignment of client terms with company standards, and supporting contract negotiations. It also ensures compliance with internal requirements by securing the necessary approvals and maintaining effective contract administration throughout the contract lifecycle.

What you will do:

  • Deliver market-leading contractual support to SE AS Europe, enabling business growth, mitigating risk exposure, and ensuring the seamless delivery of services to clients.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to continuously enhance and innovate contracting solutions, processes, and control frameworks in line with a rapidly evolving business environment.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Client Management teams to provide a high-quality, responsive, and client-centric contracting service.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and risk-assess a wide range of contracts (from N DA s to gl obal fr amew ork agr eements focusin g on reve nue generatio n for SE A S) , ensuring alignment with commercial, financial, and legal requirements while maximising business opportunities.
  • Present clear, commercially focused risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and recommendations to senior leadership to support informed decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by clearly communicating and advocating contractual requirements to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead contract negotiations in a collaborative manner to achieve balanced, commercially sound outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contractual escalations and complex queries, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

What we need from you:
  • Bachelor's degree required , with a minimum of 5 years' experience in drafting , reviewing, and negotiating revenue-generating contracts within Sales-ideally in energy, sustainability, or renewable consultancy services and solutions. Legal or formal contractual qualifications are not essential but will be considered an advantage.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and French
  • A dynamic individual & values role model that inspires & influences our stakeholders in equal measure.
  • Effective communicator capable of interaction with Senior Management, Executive Sponsors and Client Legal and Purchasers as well as coach, teach and support the development of their colleagues.
  • Excellent standards in all that you do.
  • Have an entrepreneurial business ownership mindset, a "Can-do" and positive attitude to challenges and opportunities and an autonomous approach to managing workloads with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
  • Experience in working in a multinational and multicultural environment is an advantage
  • Experience or knowledge of the energy industry is an advantage but not necessary
