Commissioning Engineer for LV (low voltage switchboards)
Are you experienced in Low Voltage power distribution systems and ready to work on complex international projects?
We are looking for a Commissioning Engineer for Low Voltage Systems to support Schneider Electric customers and projects across Europe. In this role, you will provide professional on-site services for Low Voltage power distribution solutions, including commissioning, technical diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance and customer support.
You will work on complex and critical projects, supporting Low Voltage switchboards such as OKKEN and Prisma, as well as associated equipment including Masterpact circuit breakers, compact devices, Automatic Transfer Switches, power meters, Low Voltage protection relays and Modbus communication systems.

This position requires international travel for approximately 70% of working time.
Main responsibilities
- Perform startup and commissioning across the Low Voltage product range
- Evaluate unit and system installation, including operational conditions and readiness for start-up
- Perform onsite adjustments to bring equipment to optimal running conditions
- Identify whether failures are related to quality issues, software issues or operational conditions through root cause analysis
- Work with Schneider Electric service engineers and partners during site interventions
- Document test results and produce site work reports
- Train Schneider Electric customers on basic equipment operation
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for Low Voltage products
- You have a strong technical background in electrical engineering, Low Voltage power distribution or a similar field, with hands-on experience from commissioning, field service or troubleshooting in customer environments.
- We are looking for someone with electrotechnical education, preferably a university degree, or equivalent technical experience.
- You have around 5 years' experience with commissioning and/or field service activities, with confirmed experience from Low Voltage power distribution products, either from Schneider Electric or other brands.
- You have a thorough understanding of electrical principles, particularly within Low Voltage systems, and fundamental knowledge of automation, protection relays and Automatic Transfer Switches.
- You are confident working with technical documentation, analysing installation and operational conditions, and proposing practical solutions on site.
- You have excellent mechanical and electrical hands-on skills and are comfortable using measurement tools.
- Fluent communication skills in English, minimum B2 level, are required.
- Good software tool literacy is expected, including MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD and power system commissioning software.
You enjoy working hands-on with advanced technical equipment and are comfortable taking ownership on customer sites. You can work independently while collaborating closely with colleagues, partners and technical support teams when needed.

- You are comfortable working in international and changing project environments and can manage several technical tasks at the same time.

- You are a team player who can work independently when required and contribute positively during complex site interventions.
