About the team + role
At Robinhood Markets Inc., you will be part of an exceptionally hard-working team dedicated to democratizing finance for all. The Fraud Investigation Analyst is responsible for reviewing fraud alerts, determining fraud, and helping identify emerging fraud trends through data analysis.

What you’ll do
- Review and investigate suspected fraudulent alerts, both proactive and reactive
- Provide answers to fraud investigation questions from vendor investigators
- Apply critical thinking and pattern detection to proactively identify emerging fraud trends
- Document rationale and determinations for each alert, referring cases to other teams when necessary
- Engage in potential side projects related to fraud investigations
What you bring
- 0-2 years of experience in fraud investigations with in-depth knowledge of fraud activities like Account Takeovers, Identity Theft, and Money Movement Fraud
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical skills, and strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, legal, compliance, vendor partners, and financial crime units
- Passion for mentoring and guiding junior fraud investigators

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
