About the Team:

At Quizlet, we believe in fostering a lifelong love for learning by making it fun to practice and master any subject. The growth team advances the company’s mission by bringing Quizlet to students and teachers in the U.S. and across +150 countries. We do so through three core teams, including Acquisition, Activation & Retention, and International Growth.

This high-performing, business-aligned team is responsible for attracting new users to sign up on the platform, converting those users into studiers, and generating features that encourage users to come back to study more often on the web and our mobile app. This team is also responsible for making sure that new features developed by our core product teams have the best chance of reaching their intended audience. We serve the organization by creating sustainable pathways for growth, through which we can help students achieve their goals and reach more students across the globe.

About the Role:

Quizlet’s growth team is a top priority in 2024 and we’re looking for a highly analytical, data-driven product manager to help supercharge growth. If you live and breathe funnel optimization, know your way around performance dashboards like the back of your hand, and thrive in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment then you’ll have the opportunity to have a big impact in this role.

As a Product Manager focused on acquisition, you’ll play a critical role in driving user growth by optimizing the new user experience. You’ll partner closely with data science to identify friction points in the funnel, run high-impact experiments, and execute solutions that accelerate new user growth. You’ll have the opportunity to partner closely with a high-energy marketing team on initiatives that can accelerate new user acquisition and retention.

This role is great if you’re obsessed with experimentation, deeply familiar with growth levers across product and marketing, and ready to optimize the acquisition funnel while helping Quizlet scale to new heights!

We’re happy to share that this is an onsite position in our San Francisco office. To help foster team collaboration, we require that employees be in the office at a minimum of three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and as needed by your manager or the company. We believe that this working environment facilitates increased work efficiency, team partnership, and supports growth as an employee and organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Identify and test new user acquisition channels in close partnership with the marketing team
  • Define and execute a roadmap for marketing technology that supports scalable growth
  • Improve our attribution methodology to better understand channel and campaign performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, engineering, and marketing to unlock user growth opportunities through PLG
  • Own key product initiatives that directly impact new user acquisition and drive users who engage in study activities

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven experience driving impact as a product manager who focused on user acquisition or growth in a SaaS environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to both partner with data science and interpret data to make product decisions
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with at least 8 years of experience working closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams
  • Deep understanding of user authentication, account security best practices, and optimizing user experiences for both web and mobile platforms
