Senior Accountant
Hybrid work arrangement - Two times per week in-office
Job Summary
The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee a variety of responsibilities within the General Ledger, Financial Accounting & Reporting, Loan Accounting, and Accounts Payable areas of the Finance Department.This position will review pertinent information to be used by management in analyzing revenue and expenses. Qualified candidates must have demonstrated knowledge of GAAP, accounting procedures and controls. General ledger maintenance and some supervisory experience is a plus.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred
- CPA or demonstrated progress towards CPA preferred; public accounting experience preferred
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience demonstrating progressive responsibilities
- In-depth understanding of GAAP, accounting procedures and controls
- General ledger maintenance is a plus
- Proficiency with MS Office with advanced Excel skills
- Committed team player with interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and excellent time-management skills
- Ability to meet constant stream of deadlines
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Willingness to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic and desire/aptitude for advancement
Salary Range: $80,000 to $90,000 annually, depending upon experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
