Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Quality Control Coaches (Supervisors), QC techs and QC team ensuring effective quality management processes
  • Develop, implement, and improve quality policies in alignment with PepsiCo Global Food Safety standards.
  • Identify and drive quality improvements and cost management initiatives to enhance productivity
  • Co-lead food safety and compliance audits, including FSSC 22000, AIB, QAS and regulatory readiness
  • Provide training on quality standards, regulatory requirements, and quality measurement systems
  • Drive change leadership, balancing business needs while minimizing people impact
  • Conduct regular cross-functional GMP walks, identifying opportunities and implementing improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve quality and operational challenges
  • Build team capability through hiring, training, and effective communication
  • Inspire and motivate team members to meet and exceed goals
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA chemical hygiene plan and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) through training and hazard prevention
  • Lead risk assessments, manage non-conforming product issues, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • This role may require off-shift and weekend work

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is required. Preference for degree in Engineering, Food Science, Business, Operations Management, or related field
  • 5 + years' experience in the Food/Beverage Industry (preferred)
  • Experience with GFSI schematics such as FSSC 22000, BRC, SQF, or GRMS (preferred)
  • Proven leadership experience in a large team setting
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
  • Experience working in a fast paced, results-driven environment
  • Strong skills in coaching, facilitation, team building and problem solving
