Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Staff Systems Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get to Do:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Engineer, to join the team developing Systems Engineering (SE) artifacts supporting the infrastructure design for the Sentinel Program. This role involves the technical leadership for a group of 3-30 engineers and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and oversee SE artifact development throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and status reports
Guide the development of SE artifacts including requirements, specifications, design documents, interface control documents, and verification and validation plans
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and best practices
Perform technical reviews and audits to ensure SE artifacts meet program requirements
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with 12 years of experience; or Master's degree with 10 years of experience; or PhD with 8 years of experience

Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Basic Qualifications:

Proven experience in developing SE artifacts and managing large-scale, complex defense projects
Proficiency in systems engineering tools and software. (CAMEO, DOORS, or equivalent)
Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
Prior experience with the Sentinel Program or similar defense programs
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices and tools
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

Salary Range: $147,700.00 - $221,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
