This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work, based in our Melbourne, FL offices.
The selected candidate will become part of the Aeronautics Systems Sector in the Pricing and Estimating Group, working closely with multiple engineering and manufacturing functions, Global Supply Chain, Program Management Office, and Business Management.
This role will be a key member of proposal teams; leading/supporting proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration with other team members.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Develops, plans and schedules proposals.
Compiles cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
Coordinates the collection and accumulation of cost, scheduling, and performance elements from functional departments.

Researches and analyzes historical data, develops cost models to support proposal efforts.
Coordinates activities and participates in fact-finding meetings.
Participates in cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
Comprehensive review of all elements of cost including direct labor, material, Other Direct Cost and indirect costs to ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures.
Demonstrating a broad skill set that is balanced across interpersonal, business, and proposal-based capabilities; a commitment to ethics and integrity; and the capability to innovate in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Basic Qualifications for a Sr Principal Proposal Analyst:
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 5 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Special Access Program Clearance.
Experience with SAP.
Experience with SharePoint, Confluence, and Tableau (or similar applications).
Experience with program cost analysis in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
Experience modeling production costs and affordability initiatives.
Experience in professional communications with NG Leadership, USG officials in programs, DCAA and DCMA.
Experience working within complex, high volume, high value proposals of varying contract types [FFP, FPIF, CPAF, CPIF, etc.].
Experience working with Basis of Estimate (BOE) tools and analyzing BOE quality.
Experience with pricing models and applications (ProPricer, Excel, and similar).
Experience with S-Curve tools and analysis.
Experience working with and / or developing rates and factors
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Salary Range: $98,100.00 - $147,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
