Senior Infrastructure Engineering Specialist (Hybrid)

Develop, Maintain and Support the firm's Linux (Redhat), Docker / Kubernetes, and other associated infrastructure. Develop, Maintain, Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to be used to provision resources with security standards, such solutions would be incorporated into self-service model to achieve velocity. Work with the Development, DevOps, and other cloud teams to define and clarify requirements for process automation. Build out common code and documentation that can be consumed by other teams in the company. Ensuring that solutions adhere to strict security requirements. Participating in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud. Monitoring and optimizing cloud infrastructure workloads and performance. Drive continuous improvement efforts that contribute towards our constantly evolving technical and organizational maturity goals. Bringing some of the characteristics and benefits of cloud automation back to on-prem resources. 10+ yrs of enterprise experience Deep technical background (operating systems (Linux and Windows), compute/storage, networking, application performance management, load balancing, security systems, systems architecture & engineering, automation, etc.) Experience in building large distributed systems Strong experiences in Infrastructure as a Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, Python, Scripting, REST API) Good understanding of build tools, CI/CD, Dev-ops and Agile principles Working experience in an on-prem VMware/Broadcom ESXi environment, with knowledge of modernization principles. Strong organizational and time management skills Strong problem-solving and resolution ability Strong oral, written, interpersonal communication and leadership skills Strong sense of accountability and ability to work under minimal supervision.
