Private Wealth Management Senior Client Relationship Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Client Relationship Analyst provides exceptional service to the client while supporting the Polk Wealth Management team. Through regular interactions with the client, the individual in this role builds a trusted relationship. Leading with a client first mindset, a successful candidate for this role will have strong interpersonal skills and will be able to assist the client with their everyday needs.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Evaluate investment managers and co-investment opportunities for potential fund commitments and direct/co-investments, with a focus on venture, growth equity, and thematic innovation areas including AI, climate, and deep tech, and prepare materials for presentation to the Polk Wealth Management team.
- Participate actively in the investment process as directed by the Polk Wealth Management team, including building financial or analytical models, drafting investment memos, and conducting reference calls to support client review.
- Maintain and manage a database covering both current investments and prospective opportunities to support tracking, evaluation, and efficient decision-making by the Polk Wealth Management team.
- Coordinate with investment operations and the legal team to support execution activities, helping move opportunities from decision to implementation.
- Partner with the broader Polk Wealth Management team to enhance and refine the investment process, improving how opportunities are assessed, tracked, and advanced.
- Provide ad-hoc support across pipeline tracking, portfolio reporting, and internal requests to ensure timely visibility and responsiveness across stakeholders.
- Enter profile information or pre-fill account documentation on client accounts and/or documents in a clerical capacity at the direction of the client and/or Polk Wealth Management team.
- Remaining current on all policies, procedures and new platforms
- Participating in firm initiatives (e.g., training or education programs), special projects and/or other duties directed by local management
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, and SKILLS:
Education and/or Experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience (RIAs, family offices, fund of funds, VC/PE, or similar experience preferred)
- Required Bachelor's degree
Knowledge/Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proven organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
- Strong desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment with technology forward mindset.
- Thoughtful, collaborative and goal-oriented leadership in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $100,000 and $150,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
