Position Description:
We are currently hiring for a VP to work in the Fixed Income Capital Markets - Securitized Products Capital Markets (SPCM) team within Global Capital Markets (GCM) in London.

The successful candidate will be part of the European SPCM team covering asset backed securitizations (ABS) and strategic initiatives involving a range of asset classes for European corporate and sponsor owned clients including, but not limited to, Digital Infrastructure and Transportation, Equipment and Energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a range of asset backed debt financing solutions, including public and private ABS capital markets transactions as well as balance sheet warehouse financings across EMEA and other jurisdictions
  • Project manage new issue ABS processes, including coordinating and communicating with key stakeholders and third parties (lawyers, accountants, rating agencies, trustees, etc.), and supervising work-streams with a strong focus on modelling and analytics
  • Develop and maintain key business relationships with senior corporate management and capital market teams at target clients
  • Research, evaluate opportunities and prepare pitches for clients within the securitisation
  • Collaborate with balance sheet lending teams to deploy capital in ABS warehouses
  • Supervise and develop Associates and Analysts on various transactions


Qualifications:
  • 5 - 8 years of ABS, CMBS or RMBS securitization related experience (ABS preferred)
  • Deep understanding of the public and private ABS processes including rating agency work, legal documentation and marketing processes
  • Experience with the following asset classes:
    • Digital infrastructure (data centers, GPU, fiber, cell tower, media rights, etc)
    • Transportation, Equipment and Energy (aviation, fleet, equipment, container, rail car, solar panels, battery storage, EV charging and other energy transition infrastructure ).
  • Strong numerical skills with an interest in analytics and cash flow modelling
  • Solid understanding of key legal aspects of securitisation
  • Excellent problem solving skills and an ability to comprehend complex concepts
  • Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.), Bloomberg and Intex
  • Attention to detail
  • Motivated and hardworking
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to balance responsibilities on multiple projects
  • Team player and able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Able to articulate complex ideas simply and summarise them effectively
  • Committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards
  • Fluency in English, other European languages a plus
