Executive Director, Capital Planning
Collaborate with a varied group of colleagues in Finance and across the Firm Lead multiple, complex end-to-end processes and/or programs that require strategic decision making, continuous improvement and subject matter expertise Understand, develop and adhere to the Firm's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls; own and manage risk and contingency plans for department Act as culture carrier and role model; embody and set an example of the Firm's values and hold yourself and team accountable to Firm standards Perform strategic capital and financial analysis to support Senior Management decision-making Lead capital recovery plan analysis, documentation and regulatory deliverables Lead capital impact analysis related to new/proposed regulatory rules, new initiatives, and new products Present capital planning results, optimization strategies and regulatory updates to Senior Management Committees Drive capital planning process enhancement and transformation Create and review documentation for the Firm's capital contingency plan and capital adequacy assessment Manage, attract, develop and retain talent for team within Finance while creating an inclusive environment; translate Firmwide goals into actionable goals for department/function. Coaches and motivates the whole team to achieve results. Master of Capital Planning and technical skills, including risks and key regulations relevant to the division; Ability to drive overall strategy for function/department Extensive experience owning relationships with internal and external partners at all levels of the organization Ability to manage risks at a department wide / multidisciplinary level, and own contingency plans to mitigate those risks Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity Ability to manage and develop a high-performing team Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Proven track record of great teamwork and ability to work across organizational boundaries Ability to work on multiple projects under a compressed timeline Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work Self-motivation and the ability to work autonomously Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, high degree of technical proficiency (e.g., MS Office) and ability to learn quickly MBA, CPA and/or CFA is a plus but not required At least 12 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role Our values - putting clients first, doing the right thing, leading with exceptional ideas, committing to diversity and inclusion, and giving back - aren't just beliefs, they guide the decisions we make every day to do what's best for our clients, communities and more than 80,000 employees in 1,200 offices across 42 countries. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $165,000 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
