Team Profile: The Capital Team manages the Firm's long-term capital resources on a global basis. The Team develops policies regarding regulatory capital requirements, capital structure, dividends and stock repurchases; promotes the optimal use of Firm capital while ensuring compliance with regulatory and Firm capital requirements; provides strategic analysis and guidance around initiatives and transactions with capital implications; and co-ordinates capital stress testing for the Firm and its U.S. bank subsidiaries. Role will require in office attendance 3-5 days/week.We offer: > Work in the Finance department of one of the world's top tier Financial Institutions and gain first-hand insight of our business > A desirable compensation and benefits package including eligibility for an annual bonus > Professional development opportunities including access to Morgan Stanley's world-class internal trainings > Enriching challenges that provide opportunity for constant learning and advancement > A supportive and vibrant diverse environment, we are inclusive of individual backgrounds and leverage them to foster our work environment and culture You will: > Perform strategic capital and financial analysis to support Senior Management decision-making > Lead capital recovery plan analysis, documentation and regulatory deliverables > Lead capital impact analysis related to new/proposed regulatory rules, new initiatives, and new products > Present capital planning results, optimization strategies and regulatory updates to Senior Management Committees > Drive capital planning process enhancement and transformation > Create and review documentation for the Firm's capital contingency plan and capital adequacy assessmentYou have: > Experience in Capital Planning and Stress Testing at a large financial institution > Significant professional experience in financial services or management consulting > Strong analytic, writing and presentation skills, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity and brevity > Excellent communication, interpersonal and client service skills > Ability to manage and develop a high-performing team > Adept at working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment > Proven track record of great teamwork and ability to work across organizational boundaries > Ability to work on multiple projects under a compressed timeline > Strong sense of ownership and accountability for work > Self-motivated and able to work autonomously > Proficient in Microsoft Excel, high degree of technical proficiency (e.g., MS Office) and ability to learn quickly > MBA, CPA and/or CFA is a plus but not required > Diversity of thoughtWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
