Work on and maintain industry standard economics database (ARIES) for upstream assets. Requires a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as an Engineering Technician, or a related role. Requires two (2) years of experience with: Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; software coding, including VBA Macro Development, Python or SQL; database design, functionality and application within the energy industry, including Microsoft Access; S&P Global Enerdeq Browser or Enverus DrillingInfo, ARIES, PHDWin, and Tableau or Spotfire; Petroleum Geology; decline curve analysis producing oil and gas wells on a large scale; analyzing Lease Operating Statements for large assets (greater than 1,000 wells); calculating fixed well cost, variable oil unit cost, variable gas unit cost, price differentials for oil, gas and Natural Gas Liquids; Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) streams; calculating field level cash margins on a quarterly basis over a 18 month timeframe; sorting cashflow outputs by basin area, operated and non-operated status and reserve category; and working with large datasets of oil and gas well information within industry standard format including Microsoft Access.
