Content Engineer, Product Content Engineering

Meta's Product Content Engineering team is a global group of content experts whose remit is to refine content experiences across platforms and products. PCE works in close partnership with engineering and product teams to deliver the best content experiences at scale. The work is fast-paced and innovative, situated at the intersection of content expertise and Meta's industry-leading ranking and delivery systems.The team is looking for an experienced content engineer to execute across a variety of projects in multiple languages. The main function of a content engineer is to aid in surfacing the best content, creators, and conversations on Meta platforms in connection with product strategy. The Content Engineer should have proven content creation/evaluation experience, as well as experience managing content teams through every stage of product development, including roadmap formation, iterative testing, and quality control efforts.

Content Engineer, Product Content Engineering Responsibilities:

• Understand technical product needs and translate those into actionable direction and readout for a content-focused cross-functional team
• Manage efforts to drive improved performance from creators in Latin American markets, starting with Brazil, through cross-functional projects with Ranking, Product, and Partnerships to drive top-line goals
• Coordinate efforts to work with agencies and other third party vendors to acquire and support creators on the platform
• Define emergent opportunities and support the team in executing in highly ambiguous areas
• agile support and flexibility is required

• Native Portuguese and Advanced English language skills
• 3+ years of work experience in content or creator operations at a leading content platform
• Demonstrated understanding of recommendation systems
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership experience
• Decision-making experience to steer projects in the right direction
• Effective and clear communication skills
• Proficiency in the Google suite of products, including Google Sheets

• Experience working closely with ranking teams
• Spanish language fluency
