The Opportunity:

In this role you will ensure incoming requests for localization of packaging and instructions are processed and in compliance with local legislation. You will manage the improvement of EPR data in order to ensure regulatory requirements are met. You will work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders like the Customer Service teams, Packaging team, QE team and Statutory Tax team. The role will be based in Istanbul and part-time on a fixed contract.

What Your Impact Will Be:

The Logistics and Quality Assurance Intern is responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination with test labs to meet Turkish shipment plans. This role requires managing the laboratory testing of toys sourced from multiple global suppliers, ensuring a smooth custom clearance with the Turkish Tarek system.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shipment Coordination:
    • Monitor regional shipment plans.
    • Coordinate with global suppliers to ensure test reports are available to ensure fulfillment of shipment schedules.
    • Identify potential bottlenecks and provide solutions to maintain efficient logistics operations.
  2. Quality Assurance:
    • Coordinate laboratory testing of toys from multiple global sources.
    • Collaborate closely with testing laboratories and suppliers to address questions.
    • Maintain records for tested products.
  3. Documentation Management:
    • Ensure that all shipment and regulatory documentation is accurate, and complete.
    • Update and manage a centralized database of documents related to shipments, testing, and compliance.
    • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve documentation discrepancies.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's study/degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in logistics coordination, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills in English, both written and verbal;
  • Ability to maintain awareness of deadlines and hit them.
  • Someone with an eye for detail and who works in an organized/structured manner and with good administrative skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
