Job introduction:

The Global Finance Technology organization is seeking a Anaplan Architect to join an Agile team supporting Financial Planning, Budgeting & Reporting needs within our FP&A groups.

The candidate will be engaged in challenging, innovative projects that impact our internal Financial clients and directly impact the build of the Financial Plans across all business units and the company as a whole. You will be responsible for work in all stages of the development lifecycle, from reviewing business requirements, to design, to construction and test, to deployment.

The industry changes quickly, so we are looking for candidates who can respond to change, pick up new technologies quickly and adapt to changing requirements. We also want candidates who take pride in their work and have strong design and development expertise. We value quality code delivery and expect candidates to demonstrate competence at writing, testing and debugging code.

About the job:

  • Under general direction, acts as a technical expert who consults on highly complex projects.
  • Devises or modifies procedures to solve technical problems.
  • Responsible for system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Leads and directs the work of team members.
  • May mentor junior team members.
  • Develops maintainable/scalable, effective, defect free source code that meets business requirements and team standards.
  • Conducts unit test case development.
  • Develops highly complex test scripts.
  • Identify and implements appropriate continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Contributes technical alternatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8+ years of Anaplan configuration experience.
  • Anaplan Certified Model Builder strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years specifically building scalable and maintainable Anaplan models.
  • Demonstrated experience writing optimized Anaplan formulas and ensuring model performance and governance.
  • Experience collaborating with different business stakeholders to translate needs to actionable technical specifications.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations between Anaplan and other enterprise systems (EPR, CRM, data warehouses).
  • Experience acting as a technical advisor/coach on complex Anaplan issues. Communicating complex Anaplan issues to non-technical partners.
  • Business operations, objectives and strategies, global business and technology trends and the financial services industry.
  • Familiarity with Financial concepts and Investment concepts strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Informatica or similar ETL tools preferred
