Primary Responsibilities
- Approve program requisitions and purchase orders.
- Ensure quality notes were flowed down to suppliers and are supported in documentation.
- Work with the Procurement and Buyer department to ensure the proper Q-Notes IAW drawing and Program requirements.
- Maintain NCR database daily and report status of non-conformances to management.
- Conduct Meetings with Managers and Government customers.
- Review and create processes.
- Maintain and review Corrective Actions in the CAD system.
- Non-conformances, root cause investigation.
- Participate in internal and 3rd party audits.
- Assist with CDRL reporting.
- Quality Engineering duties as required.
Basic Qualifications
- Candidate must have a Bachelors degree and 2-6 years of prior relevant experience or Master with less than 2 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a High School diploma/GED and 10 years of relevant Quality experience will be considered).
- Must be able to solve complex problems, relate with other team members, and communicate with other levels of management.
- Must be able to conduct in person and Team meetings with customers and management.
- Knowledge of the Windchill program.
- Must have knowledge and understanding when reading and interpreting drawings.
- Experience in process creation and review.
- Experience in an ISO9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
- Candidate must be able to populate handwritten or computer-generated inspection reports.
- Candidates must have Computer Skills and can use computer software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Applicants must be able to work full-time with minimal supervision and adjust priorities based on workflow.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess a (and be able to maintain) Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Six Sigma
- IPC 610/620 Certification
- Solumina or other MES programs.
- Power BI metric reporting.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
