Leidos is seeking a mission-focused Daily Operations Manager to support our Geospatial Mission Solutions team in St. Louis, MO. This on-site leadership role is ideal for a seasoned GEOINT professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and is passionate about supporting the customer mission and taking care of the team.
Rather than focusing on traditional program management metrics, this role emphasizes daily operational execution, direct customer engagement, and employee support. The ideal candidate is a natural problem-solver, skilled at navigating complex customer environments, and comfortable stepping in to help with analytical tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for St Louis Geospatial Mission Solutions operations with Leidos PMs and customer GPOCs on operational matters.
- Support and oversee on-site personnel, helping manage workloads, resolve issues, and promote a collaborative, mission-focused environment.
- Maintain situational awareness of all ongoing activities and ensure seamless communication between the team and customer.
- Address real-time operational challenges quickly and efficiently escalating as necessary while maintaining focus on mission continuity.
- Successful candidate will be expected to engage with personnel daily and to meet all incoming employees on their first day.
- Provide mentoring, support, and leadership to junior analysts and staff.
- Help with onboarding of new employees and ensure compliance with customer site protocols.
- Collaborate with customer leadership to understand evolving mission needs and adjust support accordingly.
- Step into a GEOINT/imagery analysis role as needed during surge support or to backfill gaps. as well as stand in to fill temporary vacancies in work within agency core mission areas as needed.
- Track basic reporting requirements and ensure all required documentation is completed on time (e.g., daily logs, simple metrics, issue tracking).
- Maintain a positive, solutions-driven atmosphere that supports both the mission and the well-being of the team.
- The successful candidate will be required to use their technical geospatial background to work with senior analysts to identify, discuss, and develop solutions and OCG opportunities.
- The successful candidate's responsibilities may expand to include local task order programmatic duties.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
- Strong operational background in GEOINT or Imagery Intelligence (IMINT)
- Familiarity with tools such as ArcGIS, REMOTEVIEW, IEC, Cedalion, NES, or related exploitation software
- 10+ years of experience supporting DoD or IC GEOINT operations
- 5+ years of experience supporting NGA mission and operations
- Hands-on experience working in a dynamic geospatial mission areas
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working directly with customers in high-tempo environments
- Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to support and advocate for employees while aligning with customer needs
- Comfortable briefing status updates or escalating concerns to senior customer staff
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions on the fly
- Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Willingness to assist with administrative support tasks such as onboarding, compliance tracking, and basic reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a team lead, shift lead, or operational oversight role
- Knowledge of mutli-INT integration into GEOINT workflows
- GEOINT Professional Certification - Fundamentals (GPC-F), or willingness to obtain
- Familiarity with Leidos internal tools/processes (a plus, not required)
- Hybrid IA/GA technical background to steer technical solutions is a strong plus.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
