JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for all the Division Merchandising, Marketing, Ecommerce, and Supply Chain plans. Direct and supervise activities of the Marketing, Merchandising, Ecommerce, and Supply Chain teams. Champion and lead strategic change to improve efficiency and partner with corporate leaders to create a distinct competitive advantage and enhance the company's position in jewelry retail. Identify areas that will enhance the customers' shopping experience while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Make recommendations to Vice President of Fred Meyer Jewelers and lead implementation of projects as product managers for all related systems. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop long range goals and objectives related to company Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Ecommerce identified programs and projects
  • Inspect department performance and procedures to identify deficiencies and opportunities
  • Oversee the design/installation of processes as product manager for supported systems
  • Maintain current awareness of all merchandising and operational standards and requirements
  • Provide exceptional internal and external customer service in all departments
  • Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports
  • Participate in preparing and reviewing analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives
  • Effectively lead team in meetings and coordinate activities within the group for which responsibility is delegated for further attainment of goals and objectives
  • Initiate merchandising and marketing innovation to stay competitive
  • Maintain effective communication of policy, procedures and programs that increase profitability and facilitate effective execution of strategy and performance of personnel
  • Articulate the company's mission concisely that speaks to customers and associates at all levels
  • Partner with enterprise contacts to deliver problem resolution, optimum service, and continued improvement
  • Develop and lead effective operational short- and long-term plans to exceed customer expectations and comply with all government laws and regulations
  • Travel as needed to support business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years' experience in one or more areas of Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, personnel management and or combination of relevant education and experience Proficient with report management and distribution systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusions
  • Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information
  • Strong working knowledge of management strategies, financial accounting, human resource planning, customer relations, and implementation of new technologies
  • Familiarity with Merchandising, Ecommerce, and Supply Chain training, terms and processes
  • Skilled in process flow analysis and flow charts
  • Excellent leadership and project and product management skills
  • Ability to set high goals for personal and group accomplishments and to monitor progress towards goals attainment; ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to achieve a satisfactory level of technical and professional skills or knowledge in position and/or related areas; keeping up with current developments and trends in areas of expertise
