JOB DESCRIPTION

Oversee day-to-day operations of Kroger Health locations within the division to ensure operational excellence, including adherence to best practices, successful execution of company strategies and achievement of financial targets. Provide expertise in divisional operations-related functions such as labor management, training, and scheduling of providers. Collaborate with the division's Human Resources (HR) generalist and Kroger Health HR to facilitate the progression of technicians through training programs. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee scheduling processes and practices, directing provider staffing, ensuring departments are staffed and in alignment with the prescribed staffing model

- Work with division labor manager to review and appropriately adjust labor forecasts
- Ensure best practices are being executed while providing feedback to the retail divisions' Operations, Labor, and HR teams regarding these practices
- Collaborate on action plans utilizing scorecards to make data driven decisions with HR and the Health & Wellness (H&W) division leader
- Review and assist with processes to achieve shrink and inventory goals
- Provide feedback to HR generalist regarding recruiting and/or retention efforts in specific locations
- Work with HR Generalist to execute Kroger Health HR direction
- Ensure associates complete the appropriate training for their role, including all assigned courses
- Teach, train and model all applicable company initiatives
- Work with pharmacy practice coordinators and operations specialists to ensure the development of all Kroger Health associates
- Support compliance with recordkeeping
- Monitor performance to budget with regards to labor, training, and promotion
- Support regulatory compliance of all pharmacy locations at the direction of the corporate compliance department
- Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties, complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of Operations management experience
- Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusions from a data set
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent leadership, team building, organization, problem solving, computer, oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and peer groups
- Ability to exhibit a professional presence and confident demeanor to achieve/sustain positive working relationships
- Exceptional leadership and management skills and ability to motivate, develop and inspire a team

Desired
- Associate Degree
- Any pharmacy or retail healthcare experience
- Any store management experience
- MD1 or LE training completion
