Job Description

JOB POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounting Administrator performs routine accounting duties, following appropriate procedures to ensure timely and accurate preparation. Refers difficult or unusual problems to appropriate personnel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with month-end closing procedures.
• Review invoice for proper coding and approvals and enter into payables system, in accordance with established guidelines.
• Research problems and resolve or refer to other personnel, as appropriate.
• Maintains documentation for compliance to policies and procedures for internal audits.
• Provide backup coverage for the accounting function, as required.
• Prepare and type documents and perform other administrative needs, as required.
• Maintain files in accordance with established procedures.
• Support any special projects, as directed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Fluet in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing) with the ability to communicate effectively in professional and business context.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Good organizational and PC skills required.
• Must be dependable and willing to work additional hours, as required.
• Good Microsoft skills related to Outlook, Excel, and other Office software.
• EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Associate's degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience.
