Job Summary:

As a Syndicated Loan Transaction Coordination Manager in the Syndicated Loan Transaction Coordination team, you will lead a team responsible for managing complex syndicated and bilateral loans for the Corporate Investment and Commercial Banks. You will drive operational excellence, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure alignment with the firm's strategic goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Syndicated Loan Coordinators, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports growth and development.
  • Build and cultivate strong business relationships with key stakeholders across the firm, operating as an ambassador for Transaction Coordination and Wholesale Lending Services (WLS).
  • Act as an escalation contact and provide operational oversight on syndicated loan transaction closing mechanics, ensuring all closing requirements are met by the team.
  • Promote a robust risk and control environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent WLS in various business and risk forums, support audit cycles, and provide complex operational summaries.
  • Proactively anticipate, collaborate, and provide solutions to address the needs of clients and stakeholders, balancing their needs with those of the firm.
  • Lead and act as SME in projects and provide valuable input within various working groups created to enhance performance and efficiency.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Undergraduate degree and a minimum of 10 years of Syndicated Loan operational and coordination experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Syndicated Loan product and market, including credit agreements, deal structures, and loan funding mechanics.
  • Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills in a demanding, high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to influence and partner with team members and senior management to drive issues to resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
  • Ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment with a desire to learn new principles and systems quickly.
  • Critical decision-making abilities, including the ability to identify, escalate, and propose solutions to problems.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience in cross-border transactions and international coordination.
  • Familiarity with Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and Credit Risk.
  • Experience in leading projects and working groups to enhance performance and efficiency.
