Job Summary
As a Testing Associate in Equities Operations Transformation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and success of strategic transformation initiatives across the APAC Equities business. You will plan, execute, and report on testing activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the adoption of automated testing solutions. You will also contribute to project management and business analysis efforts, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate testing estimates and contribute to effective test planning
  • Identify, document, and execute test scenarios and scripts using Business Driven Development methodologies
  • Utilize test automation tools for efficient end-to-end test execution and support the rollout of automated testing solutions
  • Monitor, report, and manage testing defects, including re-testing and validation of fixes
  • Document and present testing results using JIRA and other reporting tools for internal sign-off and stakeholder communication
  • Prepare for and execute User Acceptance Testing, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into test plans
  • Support the transformation of strategic plans into high-impact programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and timely delivery
  • Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring milestones are met and risks are proactively addressed
  • Engage with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on program and testing progress, and collaborating to resolve issues
  • Act as deputy for the Test Manager or Project Manager in project calls and communications as needed
  • Work closely with Business Managers, Operations Leads, Technology teams, and other partners to ensure alignment and high-quality delivery

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum five years' experience in the financial industry, with strong understanding of Cash Equities, Equities Derivatives, and Prime Finance workflows
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex programs or projects across multiple business units and product lines
  • Experience in business analysis, process documentation, and delivering complex projects for Front Office, Operations, or Technology
  • Skilled in defining requirements, documenting user stories, and executing test scripts
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Expertise in developing and analyzing metrics to ensure testing aligns with project objectives
  • Competent in systemic data-driven reporting to support program insights
  • Excellent communication skills for clear updates to team members and stakeholders
  • Effective in change management and adaptable to dynamic environments

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, QlikView, and Xceptor
  • Experience preparing for and running User Acceptance Testing
  • Self-motivated, able to deliver with minimal supervision, and effective in team environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including the use of analytics tools to interpret models and make inferences from large data sets
  • Extensive experience in functional and regression testing within financial services, preferably in Equities Operations
