Software Engineer [Multiple Positions Available]

Duties: Execute creative software solutions, design, develop, and perform technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Develop secure high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Work with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processes. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: 7 years (84 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Developer, Technical Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years (60 months) of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Java Developer, Technical Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Designing backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Maven; Performing Test Driven Development (TDD) using Junit, Mockito, and Cucumber test automation frameworks; Implementing micro-services-based solutions for distributed enterprise applications; Developing RESTful APIs, ensuring security, efficiency, and reliability; Designing APIs using OpenAPI specifications; Using security standards including OAuth, TLS, and Kerberos; Utilizing Domain Driven Design, microservices patterns, and modern architectures; Implementing NoSQL databases, Cassandra, and DynamoDB for distributed data storage and retrieval; Deploying applications using Cloud Foundry and AWS public cloud services; and Developing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes.

Full-Time. Salary: $189,592 - $215,000 per year.
