As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio.
  • Implement efficient ETL workflows for data movement and transformation.
  • Design and implement data models for warehousing and intelligence needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Optimize performance of Ab Initio graphs and components.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
  • Deep knowledge of ETL methodologies and data warehousing principles.
  • Proficiency in AWS, Databricks, PySpark.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
  • Familiarity with UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
  • Exposure to cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency in Ab Initio components and best practices.
