As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Enterprise Technology, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL processes using Ab Initio.
- Implement efficient ETL workflows for data movement and transformation.
- Design and implement data models for warehousing and intelligence needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Optimize performance of Ab Initio graphs and components.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in data pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver effective data solutions.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Deep knowledge of ETL methodologies and data warehousing principles.
- Proficiency in AWS, Databricks, PySpark.
- Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating data.
- Familiarity with UNIX/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in Ab Initio components and best practices.
