Software Engineer II - Java Fullstack, AWS

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking team, you will be an experienced member of an agile team, tasked with designing and delivering reliable, market-leading technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your role involves implementing essential technology solutions across diverse technical domains, supporting various business functions to achieve the firm's strategic goals.

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
• Required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
• Hands-on experience of developing Micro services using Java and Spring Boot in Public Cloud
• Hands-on experience of building distributed system with micro-services.
• Hands-on experience with event driven app architecture (Kafka) , Distributed Databases( PostgreSQL)
• Hands-on experience in application design, development and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Willingness to work on teams that develop highly scalable, secure, and resilient applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, Swagger
• Demonstrate independent problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical

• Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience in leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning frameworks/libraries to deliver the efficiency in the project.
• Certification in AWS
