As a Payments Operations Associate , you will support a portfolio of large scale strategic payment transformation programmes with project reporting and deliverables. You will work closely with key stakeholders across Operations, Product, and Technology on a number of topics, assisting the team in delivering the book of work. You will contribute proactively in a collaborative environment as part of a Portfolio Management Office providing a mixed skillset of portfolio reporting and project management. You will interpret data from across the portfolio and support recommendations on the way forward, including business and data analysis to inform decision-making.
Job responsibilities
- Tracks and monitors actions, project progress and supports effective reporting on status, blockers, and changes (e.g. using standardized scorecards).Meet standard and ad hoc reporting deadlines
- Coordinates the collation, review, and dissemination of key information-provides updates to multiple stakeholder groups
- Prepares metrics and scorecards for relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual reviews
- Assists in the creation and tracking of Objectives and Key Results across the Portfolio
- Supports the established portfolio governance structure and contributes ideas for improvement
- Provides project management support including coordination, governance, and communication, this may include leading or supporting internal process improvement projects or workstreams
- Prepares concise, high-quality reports and visual presentations-organizes information in a clear and strategic way, demonstrating proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Maintains team mailbox and manages new requests for information
- Leads daily huddles and tracks team's actions utilising team action tracker
- Conducts business and data analysis to support program objectives and inform / present recommendations
- Supports organisation of team meetings and offsites, creating agendas and liaising with presenters on timing and material.Support the People Agenda with organising in person and virtual team events and activities
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in project management, project support, or PMO roles
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite - in particular Powerpoint, Excel
- Highly organized, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and meeting deadlines; attention to detail is paramount
- Able to support the development and presentation of conclusions and solutions.Effective communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver presentations for audiences at all seniority levels and liaise with global teams
- Capable of supporting a broad range of stakeholders and managing competing priorities.Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a busy, dynamic environment
- Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities.Ability to contribute to initiatives and influence outcomes without positional authority
- Demonstrated experience in building collaborative relationships; team player who works well with colleagues of all levels and takes ownership of deliverables
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive work environment and respecting individuals at every level
- Knowledge of banking and financial products.Experience supporting initiatives across global or cross-functional teams
- Data analysis skills, including interpreting complex data sets and providing actionable insights.Expertise in presentation formatting, with proficiency in creating clear, compelling, and visually effective materials
