As a Relationship Manager, you will focus on ensuring our clients are setup for success by providing a best-in-class experience. You will manage a portfolio of clients, focusing on their first-year experience with our commercial card program. In this virtual role, you will focus on ensuring our clients are setup for success by providing a best-in-class experience. You will use data-driven insights to understand each client's business, offer educational resources, deliver strategies for program management, working capital and operational efficiencies. Building strong relationships with clients and internal partners-including banking and treasury teams-is essential to ensure coordinated and consistent support. You will maintain high standards of client experience through regular meaningful contact, informative virtual meetings, sharing industry insights, partnering with service and product teams to resolve escalations, and lead structured spend optimization efforts. The ideal candidate is a proactive advisor who thrives in a digital-first environment and collaborates effectively across teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the Commercial Card account relationship with a primary focus client experience, growth initiatives, and retention
  • Identify, plan, and implement payables strategies for growth and expansion, identify product cross sell opportunities and account retention
  • Act as a consultant for clients by learning their businesses and providing advanced monetization, working capital and efficiency strategies
  • Effectively communicating with C-Level executives and Senior level internal stakeholders
  • Partner with service and operations teams to resolve issues
  • Navigate multiple client-facing banking platforms and internal proprietary systems with ease
  • Demonstrate resiliency and adaptability in a fast-paced, innovative, and complex client environment
  • Think critically and exercise sound independent judgment
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, resilience under stress, and a will-to-solution attitude, along with being results-oriented
  • Approach problems logically and with good judgment to ensure the appropriate outcome for clients and the firm, making appropriate decisions quickly and competently

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in Client Relationship Management, Payments, Treasury, or Commercial Card industry
  • Excellent virtual communication and presentation skills (Zoom, Teams)
  • Ability to work independently with little professional guidance
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an exceptional client experience with measurable results
  • Proven ability to proactively build relationships and trust with clients
  • Experience in successfully managing multiple complex and highly visible large client relationships concurrently, which includes directly interacting with C-level clients and executive-level internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated resiliency and adaptability in a fast-paced and often complex client environment
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to approach problems logically and with good judgment
  • Strong client focus with the ability to learn a client's business to identify optimal payment and efficiency practices
  • Strong understanding of commercial card payment products, client accounting systems, ERPs, and the ability to articulate bank integrations through sFTPs and APIs

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • In-depth product knowledge in the Commercial Card industry
  • In-depth product knowledge of specific JPMC payables products
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, Salesforce, and Zoom. Ability to learn and use JPM proprietary platforms and solutions quickly and effectively
