Payments Commercial Card Fraud Product Director - Executive Director

As a Product Director in Commercial Card, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

Job responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy and roadmap specifically for fraud prevention and detection products by collaborating with software engineering, data science and operations to build and implement scalable solutions that balance risk reduction with a client-centric user-experience
  • Define product requirements, prioritize features based on business value, integrate third-party tools and tracking KPIs like detection accuracy and false positive rates to continuously improve the product
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive multi-year roadmap for fraud detection, prevention and case management tools, prioritizing features and improvements based on fraud risk reduction, business value and positive customer experience
  • Translate complex fraud use cases and customer needs into clear product requirements, workflows and success metrics
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party fraud-tool vendors, build custom in-house tools and stay current on emerging fraud trends and technologies
  • Develop deep domain expertise in customer workflows, empathize with customer pain points and business risks, and champion customer need within the organization
  • Coach and mentor the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives
  • Own product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives
  • Monitor market trends, conduct competitive analysis, and identify opportunities for product differentiation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Deep knowledge of fraud methodologies, bad actor tactics, and countermeasure technologies within the commercial card domain and industry
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills to solve complex problems and design innovative solutions
  • Strong business acumen that enables focus on the delivery of game-changing outcomes through strategic planning and execution excellence.
  • An obsessive focus on understanding and addressing the needs of both internal and external customers
  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
