Payments Business Management - Analytics & Insights - Senior Associate
This pivotal role involves identifying relevant data sources available internally or externally, extracting and processing data to make it usable by business users for decision-making purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Identification: Collaborate with various teams to identify relevant data sources for business intelligence needs.
Data Extraction and Processing: Extract, clean, and process data to ensure it is accurate and usable for business analysis.
Reporting: Assist in the creation of reports and dashboards to provide insights to business users.
Collaboration: Work closely with business users to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data processes and implement solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Compile, analyze, and enhance various reporting deliverables to support the Analytics & Insights Unit.
Maintain database information in MS Excel, ensuring consistency and accuracy amidst changing needs.
Provide proactive analytics and insights to support decision-making processes.
Support resource planning, tracking, and insights for the technology organization.
Assist in analyzing performance versus plan and financial forecasting.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree required.
2+ years of experience in a data-related role.
Proficiency in data processing, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Experience with SQL and working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL)
Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, especially Databricks and Snowflake
Advanced skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables and financial formulas.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik)
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders globally.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
