As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Finance Technology team aligned to Corporate Technology division you will be leading the ERFC team, you will own and drive the technology strategy supporting Finance users across APAC locations. You will build features and oversee the development and deployment of cloud and native applications, delivering complex regulatory reporting changes using a cutting-edge tech stack.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the regulatory reporting suite, managing data sourcing, calculations, and reporting capabilities.
- Collaborate globally to align with architecture standards while meeting local requirements.
- Lead a motivated team, fostering high standards in design, development, and vendor software integration.
- Promote a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, adopting leading-edge technologies.
- Work collaboratively in a diverse environment, valuing creative solutions for global customers.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Formal training or certification on Databricks concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
- Experience in Axiom, Oracle, Python, Kubernetes, Databricks and cloud technologies.
- Hands on experience in technology leadership roles, focusing on application, data, and infrastructure architecture.
- Proven experience in implementing and integrating vendor software solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience in data integration, processing, and analytics.
- Experience leading a feature team of 7-8 software engineers.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to cloud technologies.
- AWS, Google, or Azure certification preferred.
