Job Summary
As a Trainee in the Currencies and Emerging Markets (CEM) Asia Rates Middle Office team under the GRaduate Industry Traineeship, you'll develop foundational skills within the operations business. You'll build your knowledge, network, and experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, making meaningful contributions while developing professional expertise. Gain insight into key business projects and initiatives across the firm and see how our businesses come together to serve clients globally.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as trusted operations control advisors and as a first line of defense with Operations on Timely and accurate capture of all transactions in the Risk Management Systems.
- Involve in Trade Lifecycle Management.
- Monitor End Of Day market data and PnL & Risk run.
- Partner with Front Office, Finance, QR, VCG, Technology in supporting new business initiatives.
- Handle day to day queries from various business partners (includes trading, sales, back office, technology).
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Graduation of 2024 through 2025 from bachelor's or master's program.
- All academic disciplines and majors are welcome.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in ever-changing environments.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- A proactive, responsive team player who excels in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Ability to multi-task, work in fast-paced environments and comfortable working in teams to deliver results.
This role is intended to be for the GRIT Program and for an initial term of approximately 6 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.
