Analyst, Payroll Automation
Are you passionate about driving innovation and efficiency in payroll operations? We are seeking a dynamic Analyst, Payroll Automation to join our Payroll team and play a pivotal role in transforming payroll processes across the APAC region
Job Summary
As an Analyst, Payroll Automation within the Payroll team, you will be responsible for managing accurate and timely payroll process delivery for the APAC region. You will take ownership of process, knowledge documents, and team performance and development. You will prepare metrics for the team, interact closely with vendors and other process partners to identify automation opportunities, and develop appropriate technology solutions. This role provides an opportunity to promote changes and work collaboratively in teams.
Job responsibilities
- Be a self-motivated and result-oriented individual with an ability and experience to work with Payroll team to manage accurate & timely payroll process delivery for APAC region.
- Manage process, knowledge documents, and team performance and development
- Prepare metrics for the team
- Interact closely with vendors & other process partners to identify automation opportunities in current business processes and develop appropriate technology solutions
- Manage changes and works well in teams
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 6+ years Operations Experience - Payroll / Benefit / Taxation, out of which 4+ years of relevant Automation, Robotics, Business Process Analysis experience with a proven track record of process improvement and automation projects
- Exposure to process improvement tools, people & process management
- Experience developing and designing current state and future state process maps
- Strong in MS Excel with knowledge of more advanced formulas and Macros
- Knowledge of RPA and RDA project delivery
- Proficiency in end-to-end testing of integrated payroll platforms (HCM, ADP, etc.)
- Ability to validate automated workflows, rule engines, and exception handling processes
- Knowledge of test case development for robotic process automation (RPA) in payroll systems
- Knowledge of regression testing methodologies for payroll system upgrades

- Collaborate effectively with Product Management and Technology teams
- Strong analytical skills to identify system defects, data inconsistencies, and process gaps
- Experience in defect logging, tracking, and resolution coordination
- Strong organizational or project management skills
