Out of Box Inspector

Job Responsibilities

Conduct thorough visual inspections of finished products for cosmetic defects, damage, missing components, proper labeling, and adherence to packaging specifications.
Verify product configuration against build sheets and customer orders.
Utilize inspection tools and equipment as required (e.g., magnifying glasses, calipers).
Document inspection results accurately, including identifying and reporting non-conformances, defects, and discrepancies.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to address and resolve identified issues.
Segregate and quarantine defective products according to established procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing assembly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
