Principal Financial Analyst

Overview

The Strategic Resource Allocation Team within Corporate FP&A delivers analysis and solutions to align investments with Intuit's strategies and goals. As Intuit continues its evolution toward a true SaaS platform model, Corporate FP&A is uniquely positioned to analyze growth vectors and investment allocation across the entire company. We are looking to add a team member who can drive analysis and insights to inform financial targets, identify opportunities for revenue growth and optimize resource allocation across our business units. This Principal Financial Analyst is a key team member, reporting to the Sr. Manager. The ideal candidate will be an inquisitive self-starter, with a deep understanding of financial theory, proven business acumen, strong analytical and modeling skills and hands-on FP&A experience.

What you'll bring

• 8+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment banking, private equity or analytics
• Advanced Excel financial modeling, analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to distill storylines from large data sets and create executive level presentations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and successfully navigate ambiguity
• Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
• BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Management or equivalent work experience; MBA, CFA preferred
• Hyperion Essbase and GSuite experience a plus

• Build cases for analysis, framing both the problems to be solved and proposed approaches
• Gather and analyze internal and external data to unlock key trends and insights
• Model potential outcomes at the appropriate altitude
• Identify opportunities to improve resource alignment in service to sustainable growth
• Prepare and deliver clear, insightful presentations
• Partner and collaborate across the broader team to accomplish goals
