Infosys is seeking a Senior SAP Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

- Project Planning & Execution: Lead and manage the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, go-live, and post-go-live support) for SAP projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Module Expertise & Integration: Provide oversight and guidance across SAP functional and technical modules. These would be Finance, Supply Chain, EAM, Sales and Distribution, Reporting and SAC, Basis, Security, Development and Integration. While expertise in any area is highly desirable, it is important for the candidate to have a holistic view of SAP application and offerings.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders, senior management, and technical teams. Manage expectations, facilitate communication, and ensure alignment across all parties.
- Team Leadership & Coordination: Lead, mentor, and coordinate cross-functional project teams, including functional/technical consultants and external vendors. Foster a collaborative environment and manage resources effectively.
- Requirements & Solution Design: Conduct and oversee requirement gathering sessions, gap analyses, and design workshops. Translate complex business requirements into effective SAP-based solutions, promoting the use of standard functionality where possible.
- Risk & Quality Management: Proactively identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve complex issues to minimize disruption. Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to SAP best practices and corporate governance.
- Testing & Documentation: Oversee testing activities (UAT, integration testing), data migration strategies, and the development of comprehensive documentation including project plans, test cases, and user manuals.
- Methodology & Innovation: Champion best practices in project management methodologies (PMP, Prince2, Agile, SAP Activate). Drive continuous improvement and recommend process automation or optimization initiatives.
- Domain Expertise: Strong functional/technical knowledge and a proven track record of successful project delivery across SAP functional and technical modules.
- Project Management Certification: PMP, Prince2, or Agile certification is a significant plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with SAP S/4 HANA projects. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, SAP Solution Manager).
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse teams and global engagements.
- Onsite Presence: Ability to work onsite and engage directly with business units and stakeholders to drive project success.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Solution architecture skills for designing comprehensive, integrated SAP solutions.
- Experience in SAP S/4 HANA upgrades
- Deep expertise in any functional or technical module of SAP
