Quality Engineer
Infosys is seeking a Quality Engineer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation and Design. Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Kinston, NC or be willing to relocate to the area.
Bachelor's degree in aerospace, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Min 4+ years of experience in an engineering classification / position
Support quality team, perform data analysis and root cause analysis
Analyze and provide material review disposition for nonconforming materials, parts and equipment
Participates in design and product reviews to ensure that producibility, inspect ability, reliability, safety,
Quality, System integrity and business process management objectives are met.
Performs root cause analyses.
Recommends and supports the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate nonconformance to design specifications.
Interfaces with stake holders to ensure compliance with requirements.
Define process flow, performs PFMEA & Control plan.
To understand and implement a Quality Management System in a program.
Studying the overall Non-Conformances revenue based on Scrap, Rework and Repair data originated at various workshops and provide reports as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in an Aircraft or Aerospace Quality environment
Knowledge of QE tools used in production ie: SAP, Concessions, Continuous Improvement, RCCA, PFMEA
Microsoft Office - advanced skill level
Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
