Location: Monterrey, CDMX, or Guadalajara (Hybrid - 3 days per week at Infosys Office)

We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Cloud Analytics Platform team. This role requires a passion for data analytics and data science, with a strong focus on turning data into a strategic asset for the organization. The position will be part of the Claims and Leave Data Domain, supporting two scrum teams that deliver solutions related to Claims, Consumer, and Leave Management, as well as data integrations.

As a Product Owner, you will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and Experience Owners to translate strategic plans into actionable deliverables. You will own the product backlog, define user stories, and ensure that development teams deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring clarity, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintain backlog readiness for sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to understand vision, roadmap, and business goals.
  • Conduct interviews with users and stakeholders to gather requirements and refine features.
  • Participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Provide clear guidance to development teams on priorities and deliverables.
  • Ensure product artifacts meet Definition of Ready and Definition of Done.
  • Lead sprint demos and communicate value delivered to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Business Analytics and Operational teams to drive adoption and measure success.
  • Identify and resolve impediments impacting delivery.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement and agile best practices within the team.
  • Align with other Product Owners and Product Managers for cross-team initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of the Product Delivery Process and backlog management.
  • Excellent communication skills for translating business needs into technical requirements.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while maximizing value delivery.
  • Working knowledge of data, analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Ability to review queries and identify data patterns and anomalies.
Familiarity with:
  • Data science tools (Python, PySpark)
  • Query engines (AWS Athena)
  • Data platforms (Amazon Redshift)
  • Data wrangling and ETL tools
  • BI tools
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence for backlog and documentation management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outcome-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable.
Nice to Have Skills
  • Big Data project experience.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification.
  • SAFe Agilist certification.
  • Experience with tools such as Visio and PowerPoint for stakeholder communication.
