Platform Administration Lead with Management Experience

We are seeking a highly experienced Track Lead - Platform Administration with Architecture expertise to lead enterprise platform operations and architecture across cloud, data, integration, and analytics platforms. The role requires a combination of platform architecture design, operational leadership, and team management to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise platforms.
The candidate will drive platform strategy, architecture governance, operational excellence, and automation, while managing a team responsible for platform administration and support.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • At least 11 years of experience with Information Technology

  • Strong architecture and administration experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
  • Define and implement enterprise platform architecture for cloud, data, integration, and analytics platforms
  • Experience with platform automation, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, networking, and identity management
  • Lead and mentor platform administrators and engineers across multiple technology stacks
  • Manage platform operations, incident management, and change governance
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, development teams, and business stakeholders
  • Define and implement enterprise platform architecture for cloud, data, integration, and analytics platforms.
  • Design scalable, resilient, and secure platform solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Establish best practices for platform architecture, governance, and security.
  • Lead technology roadmap and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Implement network architecture, identity management, security frameworks, and cost optimization strategies.
  • Proven experience as Platform Architect / Solution Architect
  • Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management
  • Experience designing enterprise-scale platform architectures
  • Ability to lead multi-technology platform teams
  • Establish platform monitoring, observability, and automated alerting frameworks.
  • Drive automation through Infrastructure-as-Code, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Implement capacity planning, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
  • Deliver platform health metrics, risk assessments, and operational reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 11 years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, or data platforms
  • Certifications in cloud architecture (Azure/AWS) preferred
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks
  • ITIL knowledge for service management and operations governance
  • Web Services
  • Hands-on knowledge of Databricks
  • Integration technologies including Informatica and Oracle WebLogic Server
  • BI platforms such as Microsoft Power BI and SAP BusinessObjects
  • Oversee administration and architecture of BI platforms including Microsoft Power BI and SAP BusinessObjects
  • Define architecture for data visualization, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks
  • Optimize performance, security, and scalability of reporting platforms
  • Ensure adherence to SLA, compliance, and operational standards
  • Provide architectural oversight and administration for integration platforms such as Informatica and Oracle WebLogic Server.
  • Ensure robust ETL pipelines, middleware stability, and integration performance optimization.
  • Define standards for data integration, orchestration, and API enablement.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
