Network Datacenter H&F Administrator

Infosys is seeking a Network Datacenter H&F Administrator. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Sacramento CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Hands and feed support for Data Center operations.
  • Candidates must be available to work onsite on a rotating / Flexible shift timings at respective Datacenter to provide. It includes both on demand onsite support, and extended shift coverage as needed.
  • Candidate must be available to work on a rotating shift schedule to provide support at Datacenter.
Shift 1 06:00-15:00 PST
Shift 2 14:00-23:00 PST
Shift 3 22:00-07:00 PST
  • Rack/cabinet installations, power strip setup, labeling, and DCTracks updates.
  • Install and connect IT equipment following best practices; manage space provisioning in DCTracks.
  • Unbox hardware, dispose of packing, and perform rack & stack of devices.
  • Configure ILO/IDRAC on servers and network gear; install patch cords, trunks, and patch panels.
  • Conduct connectivity tests (e.g., ping tests) and attend planning meetings with customers and technical teams.
  • Handle customer communications, vendor access, and paperwork for telco meet-me rooms.
  • Perform IT audits, DCTracks updates, tape audits, and manage parts ordering and purchase submissions.
  • Provide on-call and emergency onsite support; assist facilities during power work.
  • Troubleshoot and repair cables (SM, MM, copper) and hardware; attend MIM calls.
  • Execute change requests and perform component replacements (NICs, SFPs, memory, drives).
  • Manage decommissioning: remove patch cords, old hardware, and track media disposal (Blancco wipe, shredding).
  • Coordinate ADR/ERI tracking and vendor approvals for break-fix and facility repairs.

  • Collaborate with Technology team members to ensure efficient operation of the organization's Datacenter operations environment.
  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, messages, emails and/or work orders regarding datacenter operations problems.
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with project guidelines.
  • Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to technical teams, business stakeholders.
  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
  • Good Communication and Analytical skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
