AWS Redshift ETL Developer

Infosys is seeking an AWS Redshift ETL Developer. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US
  
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Design and implement ETL pipelines using AWS services (Redshift, Glue, Lambda, S3, etc.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data transformation and loading into Redshift.
• Perform data modeling and schema design for Redshift-based data warehouses
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and AWS Glue.
• At least 3 years of experience with other AWS services such as S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty)
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau, QuickSight, or Power BI
• Knowledge of data lake architecture and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, EMR)
• Analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
