Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist| Fluent in Hebrew & English

Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our AR team and contribute to maximizing cash flow for IBM through effective collections and account management. In this role, you will take full ownership of the assigned portfolio, drive dispute resolution, prevent bad debt, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience while maintaining strong compliance and business controls. Your role and responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable (AR) team is responsible for maximizing cash flow for IBM Corporation through the timely collection of invoices and efficient administration of accounts.

As an Accounts Receivable Analyst for the assigned country, you will be responsible for the following activities:

Ownership and Accountability:

  • Take full ownership of collections, aged debt, unallocated cash, and dispute targets.

Dispute Management:

  • Identify, track, and manage disputes to ensure timely resolution.

Bad Debt Prevention:

  • Identify potential bad debt cases before they reach the legal stage and take appropriate action.

Case Follow-up and Documentation:

  • Regularly follow up on all cases using the designated tools and accurately forecast when cash will be received by IBM.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Proactively build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including brand and sector contacts.

Payment Allocation:

  • Ensure timely and accurate allocation of payments within the assigned territory.

Issue Resolution:

  • Take ownership of cash-related issues, respond with urgency, coordinate resolutions across IBM teams, and keep all involved parties informed of progress.

Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with collection teams to improve processes, enhance communication workflows, and drive continuous improvement in AR performance.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build strong relationships with both internal and external clients through direct communication and responsiveness to customer needs.

Client Loyalty:

  • Contribute to client satisfaction by making IBM easy to do business with.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Adhere to EMEA and local AR processes, ensuring timely execution to maintain strong business controls and audit compliance.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Fluent in English and Hebrew; Spanish is a plus.
  • Availability to work from Sunday to Thursday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)
  • Proven administrative and customer service skills.
  • Quality-oriented approach with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Self-organized and autonomous, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Quick to adapt to change and open to learning new knowledge and activities.
  • Client satisfaction focused.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Experience in Administration and / or Customer Service
  • SAP
