How you'll make an impact
- Design and execute projects in line with customer specifications and global standards.
- Create work plans and cost estimates, ensuring quality deliverables.
- Lead the development of innovative solutions for complex projects.
- Prepare manufacturing documents and design drawings for FACTS plants.
- Coordinate electrical engineering across multiple projects.
- Conduct risk and opportunity assessments, implementing resulting actions.
- Provide technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning.
- Interact directly with customers, officials, contractors, and supply chain.

Your background
- BS/M.Sc./Ph.D in Electrical Engineering and 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience with FACTS or HV transmission substation solutions required.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code and ANSI/IEEE requirements.
- Control and Protection panel design experience preferred.
- Relay configuration knowledge is a plus.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Candidates may be required to travel from 1 to 4 months to Sweden for specialized training.
