Internship Project Engineer (HV)

    日立エナジージャパンのハイボルテージ事業では、遮断器や開閉装置などの高電圧製品を通じて、社会インフラに不可欠な電力の安定供給を支えています.
    本インターンシップでは、HV Project Engineerの業務を通じて、設計検討、技術課題の整理、関係者との調整・合意形成など、プロジェクトエンジニアとしての実務を体験いただきます.

    2. 主な業務内容
    Project Engineerは、図面や計算結果を作成するだけでなく、設計内容が品質・コスト・納期および他工程に与える影響を考慮しながら、最適な仕様や対応策を検討・提案する役割を担います.
    インターンシップでは、実際のプロジェクト事例をもとに、設計確認の観点、課題整理の進め方、関係者との合意形成プロセスを学んでいただきます.

    3. インターンシップを通じて得られる経験
    本インターンシップを通じて、設計を通じてプロジェクト全体を成立させるProject Engineerの役割について、実務に近い形で学ぶことができます.
    また、送変電設備という社会的責任の大きい分野において、技術的な検討や関係者との連携が、電力インフラの安定供給にどのようにつながっているかを理解する機会となります.
    期間中は、担当社員がメンターとしてサポートし、設計検討の進め方や考え方についてフィードバックを行います.

    • 電気・機械に関する基礎知識をお持ちの方
    • 物事の論点を整理し、分かりやすく文章化できる方

    The opportunity

    Hitachi Energy is a leader in high-voltage technology, offering a wide range of high-voltage products up to 1,200-kilovolt (kV) for AC and 1,100-kilovolt for DC. We help to enhance the safety, reliability and efficiency of power networks while minimizing environmental impact with following primary offerings for switchgears, circuit-breakers, generator circuit breakers, power quality products, surge arresters, disconnectors, instrument transformers and high-voltage service.

    Key innovations in our High Voltage Products portfolio include active technology power quality & battery energy storage, eco-efficient switchgear, digital generator circuit-breaker, hybrid and integrated switchgear. Our technology leadership continues to facilitate innovations in areas such as ultra-high-voltage power transmission, enabling flexible smart grids and enhancing eco-efficiency.

    How you'll make an impact
    1. Design review processes and engineering considerations
    2. Identification and resolution of technical issues
    3. Interpretation of customer requirements and project specifications
    4. Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder coordination
    5. Communication and consensus-building throughout project execution

    6. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

    Your background
    1. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
    2. Fundamental knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical engineering
    3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to organize information logically and communi-cate ideas clearly
    4. A proactive mindset and willingness to take on new challenges
    5. Passion for innovation and creating new value
    6. Willingness to communicate and collaborate in an English-speaking environment
    7. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams

    Working hours: 900-1730 (1hr break). Flex time is applicable.
