The opportunity
We are looking for a Contracted Services Specialist to join us at Hitachi Energy Norway. In this role, you will be an active part in the projects procuring civil works and installation services. You will coordinate, negotiate, and administrate procurement proposals, bids and contracts with contractors. You will be a multitasking person in a multicultural environment.
You will join a dedicated team of professionals within Supply Chain Management so you will have colleagues from all around the world supporting you in this role.
How you'll make an impact
- Implement sourcing strategies for contracted services, aligning with business strategy and ensuring contractor capability and capacity.
- Plan and execute procurement activities to support cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Interface with key stakeholders, including sales/tender resources, project managers, site managers, and engineering teams.
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in an engineering discipline or business administration.
- Previous experience in procurement and negotiation of medium to large contracts.
- Knowledge of the energy sector.
- Technical interest and ability to solve complex problems independently.
- Knowledge and understanding of risk identification and mitigation.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language) written and verbal, is a requirement.
