The Opportunity:
The Import Logistics Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the importation process to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to streamline logistics operations and maintain compliance with international trade regulations. Availability to work on-site in Blumenau, Santa Catarina (SC).
How You'll Make the Impact:
- Import Operation: Oversee the entire import process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
- Collaborate with suppliers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
- Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and review import documentation to ensure compliance with international trade laws.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import regulations and tariffs to minimize risks and avoid delays.
- Cost Management: Monitor and report on logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Performance Tracking: Develop and utilize KPIs to track the efficiency and effectiveness of import operations.
- Provide regular reports and insights to management on import activities and performance metrics.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal Business Units to align logistics activities with business objectives.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners to enhance collaboration and service delivery.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
Your Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Administration, Foreign Trade, Engineer and related;
- Experience in Transportation, Logistics, and Customs Operations, with knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, OSGT.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Microsoft Office Suite, and advanced Excel.
- Availability to work on-site in Blumenau, Santa Catarina (SC).
- Proficiency in English.
- Analytical and organized profile, with the ability to work effectively in dynamic, cross-functional environments.
