ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Accesses order information from the AS400 system to batch, print, and prepare daily work. Batches and prints work by division, ship code, order priority, special handling procedure, work area, and cut off time. Troubleshoots basic AS400 system problems, order label printers, MSDS printers, and conveyor technology to ensure workflow remains cinsistent. Verifies all batch and label accuracy.
  • Provides reprints, re-boxes, and any other department labels as required.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

Basic computer skills. Strong analytical skills to identify trends or volume fluctuations quickly. Good reading, writing, math, and computer skills. Good communication (written/verbal) skills. Detail oriented and accountable for making accurate decisions under set guidelines. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to follow instructions, work under stress, and handle multiple assignments. Ability to read fine print and differentiate products with similar characteristics (size, color, vendor code).

Experience:

Knowledge of basic warehousing operations preferred.

Other:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience.

Physical demands refer to the level and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform critical tasks in support of critical job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.

Physical demands:

Lift, carry or move products up to:

0-50 lb. Occasional

Walk on concrete floors frequently.

Gripping, pushing, pulling and fine hand manipulation occasionally.

Twist or bend torso occasionally.

Handling tools continuously (Pushcart, Pallet Jack, Printer, Computer).

Conditions:

Continuous temperature-controlled building.

May be expose to dust occasionally.

Work in a cold environment occasionally.
