Job Description Summary
The Gas Power Technical Compliance organization (GPTC) provides technical guidance, leadership, and tactical directions to drive compliance with Technical Regulations & Standards (TRS) for products, projects & services for HD and Aero businesses. GPTC provides coverage in TRS expertise and applicability throughout the entire lifecycle of Power Generation equipment including New Product Introduction (NPI), Inquiry to Order (ITO), Order to Remittance (OTR).

The Engineer (m/f/d) will effectively collaborate internally with several functions within Gas Power & externally with customers, authorities, and authorized agencies in a multi-cultural & multi-functional environment to ensure technical compliance of products & services offered.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Work cross functionally with several groups in the supply chain to resolve reactive and proactive issues.
• Participate in ERP new releases affected TRS Compliance
• Support compliance data and document migration from Document Repository to PLM.
• Perform Technical Regulations & Standards compliance review on quoted/ordered parts.
• Verify Technical Regulations & Standards compliance documents collected from part manufacturers.
• Contact vendors for part's technical data and technical compliance information.
• Maintain Commercial Authorization codes in ERP.
• Maintain the TRS document repository.
• Ensure that replacement parts are added to unit records and compliance requirements are added to part drawings if necessary.
• Support trade compliance team with parts custom's and export control classifications
• Identify and execute necessary procedures and training for Parts Compliance team.
• Perform weekly validation checks and report overall team metrics.
• Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules, execute mandatory EHS trainings and immediately report the incidents and near misses as required.
• Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns verbally or in writing.

Required Qualifications

• Technical University / Master's or Collage / Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering and /or equivalent experience
• Parts or Supply Chain related experience/ drafting, design engineering, field engineering, shop assembly or spare/replacement Parts involvement
• Fluent in English
• A strong customer focus
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Ability to organize/prioritize workload
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Successful applicant will be legally eligible to enter into an employment relationship under the laws of Hungary
