Resident Engineer

Job Description Summary

Support après-vente pour les problèmes client. Cela peut inclure des réparations (retours de pièces et intervention sur le terrain), un support technique ou un service sur site, ou une autre demande de service. Responsable de la planification et/ou de l'exécution des opérations du département ou axé sur l'exécution d'activités professionnelles au sein d'une discipline technique. Fonctions dotées d'une certaine autonomie, mais guidées par les politiques établies ou l'analyse des résultats finaux.
Ce poste est autorisé à modifier les procédures et les pratiques en relation avec les tâches dans la mesure où les résultats finaux répondent aux normes d'acceptabilité (qualité, volume, respect des délais, etc.).

• Manage, perform, coordinate the management of Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine site activities.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding operation, calibration, repair and maintenance at customer's sites.
• Respond to requests for emergency repairs and services to troublesome equipment.
• Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future outages.
• Knowledge to troubleshoot and provide routine maintenance checkout for wide range of equipment vintage
• Coach, mentor and train other team members as required, to impart and perpetuate field engineering and/or product knowledge.
• Maintain strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within GE safety standards.

• For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Services & Technical Support. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

• Highly disciplined and self-maintaining, anticipating and planning, responsive and prompt, maintain high level of productivity on remote work, managing wing-to-wing responsibility and taking ultimate ownership of all that happens at responsible sites or customers. Demonstrate established ability to document, analyze, problem-solve, market and execute programs. Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and persuasion skills for both internal and external stakeholders.
