Job Description Summary
The position will be primarily responsible for the project specific schedules generation in the engineering organization, in developing and integrating Engineering Planning on projects, that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in project plannings quality improvements this role contributes to the overall strategy to improve the schedules quality with impact across the Gas Power Business.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Work within the guidelines of applicable GE Vernova Policies and Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design and Configuration Management Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
- Release high complexity schedules on projects and ensure the planning needs of the Projects organization that use and interact with the schedule plan are met
- Specifically focused on execution of Project Schedules for the Steam Turbine scope and support the improvement on the Scheduling Templates and overall quality in the domain
- Partner with the senior engineering planners to define, release and maintain engineering planning and data management
- Effectively collaborate and/or manage the collaboration with peers across organizations to ensure scheduling maturity and rigor are maintained across Gas Power technologies
- Experienced in float management, planning optimization, baselining, reporting tools, effectively provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation, and presentation of technical data, providing status, identified risks and mitigation plans.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science.
- 5 years' experience in an Equipment or Engineering Planning capacity.
Desired Characteristics
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in prior roles with Primavera P6 Planning/Scheduling.
- Experienced in baselining schedules, schedules optimization and P6 reporting capabilities
- Demonstrated leadership experience that embodies the Vernova Way
- Strong oral and written communication skills with peers and leadership
- High energy, self-starter, with a proven track record in delivering results
- Effective communicator with experience in presenting and interacting
